What’s your pick for Life – Living or Existing?

This post is for those who are determined enough to choose to live life and never settle for it.

Most people settle for a life below to their potential and desires. They had a rough picture in their heads of how they want their life to be, but they let that image saved as their beautiful memory while living a life they never wanted to.

I can personally say after reflecting over my past years that I chose Life over simply existing or settling.

Past 10 years of my life, everyday I walked with a heart full of dreams and a mind full of regrets, which were mainly the result of many unsuccessful attempts at finding life.

I knew what I wanted but I was hesitant enough to take a call towards it. This imbalance fuelled many inappropriate decisions for myself and my life.

Amidst all of this, there was only thing that kept me going, I never stopped giving life another chance.

Fear, impatience, self limiting beliefs, faulty thinking that we won’t have another chance, not wanting to be lonely, money, circumstances etc. These are some reasons that makes us settle for our existing lives whether we are happy being there or not.

Even if you’ve had a rough start in life, it doesn’t have to be that same predicament for the rest of your life.

So how do you make sure that you are not settling?

  – Start owning your life and stop blaming your life on people or situations

  – Identify your limiting beliefs. These are the beliefs that make you who you are.

  – Be mindful of what you allow in your life. Raise your standards.

  – Turn your shoulds into musts.

You can live better. You deserve to live the life you desire.

Make up your mind now. The choice is always YOURS.
